The Shanghai Municipal Government, China is offering full scholarships to students wanting to study in different institutions in Shanghai, China. This scholarship scheme is named as 'Shanghai Government Scholarship for International Students'.

This scholarship is provided at different levels such as Bachelors, Masters and Phd.

There are 3 Category of the scholarship scheme.

Category A: This provides full scholarships to students who are in foreign countries and are looking to study Masters and Doctoral courses in Shanghai. The full scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses and medical insurance expenses.

Category B: This provides partial (tuition fee free only) scholarships to students who are not yet in China and are looking to study Bachelors (or undergraduate degrees) in Shanghai.

Category C: This category is for those who are already in Shanghai and are academically bright students.

Category A and B Scholarships usually have application deadlines during the end of May (2012). Please check with individual institutions in Shanghai.
