The School of Psychology has three International Undergraduate Scholarships to offer, each worth £2,000 towards tuition fees, for the first year of study.
These scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and on the submission of an essay entitled 'Is Psychology a 'real' science? Discuss'.
In order to be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:
An application must have been made for a degree course within the School of Psychology.
The applicant must have received an offer of a place on such a degree course.
The University must have received confirmation of the applicant's firm acceptance of the offer.
The applicant must have demonstrated ability to fund their study programme.
This scholarship is open to overseas fee paying applicants only.
How to apply
Application is thorough submission of an original essay of 1,500 words (maximum) entitled 'Is Psychology a 'real' science? Discuss'. This should be emailed to C.Turnham@kent.ac.uk by Tuesday 31 May 2011.
The School of Psychology reserves the right not to allocate the awards if the selection panel is unable to identify a suitable candidate. We expect to inform candidates whether or not they have been successful by Monday 6 June 2011.
