The International Summer School (ISS) at University of Oslo has been offering intensive Master's and Bachelor's courses over six weeks. More than 550 students from nearly 100 countries are enrolled from late June to early August.

Scholarship applicants 1) who are citizens of and study in Eastern European countries and the former Soviet Union Republics 2) who are citizens of developing countries do not have to pay the application fee.

The International Summer School (ISS) offers a large variety of full and partial scholarships, but the competition for these scholarships are also big.

These scholarships will or may cover the travel costs, the basic on-campus or off-campus fee, extra course fees and also pocket money (NOK 3000).

The deadline for scholarship applications is 1 February (2012).
