2012 Scholarships by Israeli Government to Foreign Students

Scholarships Offered By: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Israel

Scholarships Target Countries: Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada (Quebec Province), China, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Lithuania, Latvia, Luxembourg, Mexico, Moldova, The Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Republic of Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey

Subjects for Scholarships: All Subjects

Scholarships for Foreign Students are being offered by the Government of Israel for the citizens of the countries with whom Israel has previous cultural agreements.

The scholarships are offered for summer courses, or one year of study, or research scholarship.

To be eligible for the scholarships:

Students has to finish Bachelors degree or a higher degree with exceptional academic results.

Only citizens of above mentioned countries are eligible to apply and they must be under thirty five years of age.

Language Requirement: English or Hebrew

Full Scholarships will cover: Tuition Fees for the study in Israel, Living allowance every month and expenses for health insurance.

Further information can be received from: Israeli Embassy (Local)

The deadline is: 30 November (2012)

Decision will be made: in May

please i would like know from the global scholarship partners for their restriction of their scholarship by age and countries knowing well that some country like the republic of south Sudan whose name is even omitted in the list of African countries and yet have people with desire to apply the scholarship and also some people in this country are capable and have competence for the offer of the scholarship but because of the long wars which have taking place in this country have made the competent men/women not to compete because of the age limit being given by those who offer these scholarships
